Hi Brad, hi all,
Firstly, thank you for adding W3M, Lynx, Links, BitFolk.com ,
& Wttr.in to your new directory of all things JSfree! :-D
I am wondering why you didn't add AnyBrowser.org/campaign or AA.net.uk .
The Any Browser Campaign has similar goals to your JSfree directory,
including diversity of browser support, Web accessibility,
support for old hardware, and reduction of electronic waste.
Having been about since the days of Netscape Navigator,
it also happens to itself support any browser,
including those that do not support JavaScript, such as W3M.
I have been in contact with the Any Browser Campaign,
and it is very nice of Cari D. Burstein to have linked to JSfree.org .
I think it would be even nicer if JSfree was to link back to the VWABC;
it makes a lot of sense to me for both sites to link to each other. :-)
I will revisit almost-JSfree Andrews & Arnold in another thread.
Thank you Brad for launching the JSfree directory,
and this mailing list! :-D This is an incredibly helpful initiative!
Kind regards,
James.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions and feedback! (Missed those popular TUI browsers initially!)

Since the jsfree project is based on “web services”, it doesn’t make sense to include something like AA.net.uk (hardware / internet services based). As for the AnyBrowser campaign, I appreciate the link/mention and I’ll look for a nice way to include them in the future (just wish to avoid opening the floodgates to backlink requests, as that is not the core direction of the project)
Cheers,
Brad
