I thought I'll start off the mailing list where people can talk about themselves
and why they are here.

My name is Dean Leggo and I'm a computer science student in Western Australia. I
have switched industries multiple times and I always cared for equality and the
environment. Now working in the tech industry I want computing to be an enjoy
for everyone and accessible. I'm drawn to Linux for its economic accessibility
and how people* can control their computing.
*currently only if they are technically minded.

Previously I worked on the NBN as a technician fixing peoples internet. I saw
many people, including the elderly who were worried about not understanding
their devices and not wanting to adventure away from what they know in case
they break it.

I joined Sourcehut a few days ago and for some reason I got a message from a project I am not part of. https://todo.sr.ht/~dean-weaver/cqterra/60#event-177542

It seems the backend got confused between ~dean and ~dean-weaver. This is also noticeable with the following line 177551 "...7 PM, ~dean-weaver out...". '~dean' is created into a link leaving out '-weaver'.
