I used it for a few years now, but suddenly, Medium seems to have
updated something, and your fantastic solution, is no longer working.
It only shows the start of the article as a free plan allows it.

I just wanted to let you know.

I think you're right. It looks like Medium did update something and now only part of the article is loaded.

Medium started doing this with some users a couple years ago. Now it looks like they are doing that with any "Medium members only" posts.

I have an issue for tracking that here: https://todo.sr.ht/~edwardloveall/Scribe/11

Unfortunately, I don't have a solution. It looks like this may be how Scribe works now. If you (or anyone else reading) comes up with a fix, please comment on that issue page.
