Hello,
I am using the Neo keyboard layout (QWERTZ variant) on Wayland. Numen
seems to work perfectly... although there are two caveats: "point" and
"list" are not correctly configured. "point" outputs "ä", and "list"
outputs "Ö". I have checked if this is a problem with xkb, and I suppose
so: `dotool x:period` outputs "ä", too. I have taken a look into the xkb
definition for `neo_qwertz`, but it doesn't look like there is an
incorrect mapping there, so I wonder why dotool can't output "."...
Using the "Linux key" for period (ex. `dotool dot`) works, although as
far I have understood it, Numen can call dotool only with xkb key
identifiers. I might be wrong though. If so, that could be workaround;
to replace `period` with `dot` for the "point" phrase.
Did anyone else have a similar issue with more... exotic keyboard layouts?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
that fixed the issue, thanks. I composed this mail using Numen, even.
