I find that when a train is moving with doors open, i have to right-click instead of step into it. I am experimenting with platforms where trains don't stop and only go at 1 m/s (for a metro).

Can we make a configurable maximumm speed until you are unable to step on a moving train?

Please look into wagon:on_step defined in advtrains/wagons.lua.
