Pretty cool! I like the idea, of curse, if you can.

[question] is it possible to exclude an article for a specific protocol (https/gemini)? 3 months ago

From Iván Ruvalcaba to ~adnano/kiln-discuss

Hi!

Currently I have kiln configured to publish my articles for both
mainstream web and gemini, however I would like to be able to exclude
specific articles to a certain protocol, i.e. I would like a given
article to be available only for gemini and not for http.

Is this currently possible? If so, how can this be done?

Best regards.

I can't tell if the commit you made solved the issue or if a mistake on
my part was the cause of the problem, however, now with kiln version
0.2.0, everything works as expected.

I can finally continue the development of my site and my projects
without any problems.

Thank you very much for your hard work.

Best regards.

Hi!

In Jekyll it is possible to pass parameters from the frontmatter to
Liquid templates. In particular I am very interested in doing the
following through gmnitohtml:

post.gmi

---
title: Foo
params:
  description: bar
---

Thank you very much for your response. With the new changes and the
relevant clarifications, finally everything seems to be working
correctly. Nice job!

Best regards.

Hi Adnan! Thank you very much for your contribution.

In response to your request, my feedback is as follows:

I'm not sure I understand this aspect. I have tested kiln + md2gemini[1]
and the latter does not play well with documents that use a
frontmatter, which is a pity. If the option to remove the frontmatter
is omitted, kiln parsing does not work as expected (empty h1 tag). If
you choose to preserve it, md2gemini will result in a file with a long
succession of "-" as a header.
