I have decided to continue development of Puzzle Massive (version 3) without publishing the source code publicly. Interested individuals that would like to view the source code and potentially contribute to the project can contact me.
This project will remain a side project of mine that I do for fun, I just saw little value in keeping the source code public for anyone (or robots) to potentially use. I'm hoping that this avoids the issue of companies using this software (harmful free-riding) without giving me anything back. I may in the future release the source code under a FSL (Functional Source License) or back to AGPL if I ever lose interest in developing Puzzle Massive.
Piecemaker and Pixsaw projects will remain as open source GPL code. They are less specific to a single use like Puzzle Massive is.
