Great. I am currently investigating possibilities. I'm setting up a
replicated HA PgSQL which will be used for a bunch of projects -
including my instance of sourcehut.

Pgbouncer is fine for me, but it doesn't include automatic failover. I
am considering between pgpool II and pgbouncer with repmgr. I would like
to limit used software, so pgpool II is preferred now, but I'm not fully
satisfied with its automatic failover. What's more I have some non
standard errors on quite standard configuration, so I'm not convinced.

I would be glad of hearing from you about your solutions when you will

Hello Drew,

Are you going to launch some utility for PostgreSQL load balancing and
fast failover like pgpool-II? If not, how are you planning to setup HA
for database?

Kacper

Good to hear. In fact anyone can build mobi from epub using official
Amazon's tool called KindleGen
(https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000765211), but
receiving official release will be nice.

Thanks for answer - draft already subscribed ;-)

Kacper

Hello Drew,

Are you going to release Wayland Book in mobi and epub formats at least
after final version will be ready?

Mailing servers 5 months ago

From Kacper Kołodziej to ~sircmpwn/public-inbox

Hello Drew,

You have mentioned (https://cmpwn.com/@sir/102786679465015890) that you
are planning to deprecate your private mail server.

Could you tell us something about your current mailing setup (hardware,
software stack) and why you are going to change them?

I also have my own mailing server so this topic is interesting for me.

Thanks a lot!

Kacper

[PATCH] Makefile: Use GO variable to specify compiler path 7 months ago

From Kacper Kołodziej to ~sircmpwn/aerc

It is useful when somebody has different Go versions across one system
and first go in $PATH points to version older than 1.12 (common in
stable distributions).

npm requirement to install core.sr.ht 8 months ago

From Kacper Kołodziej to ~sircmpwn/sr.ht-dev

Hello,

I'm a bit astonished at requirement of nodejs to install core.sr.ht. I
can't see any javascript files in core. What's more, there is no
node_modules directory (and it is listed in 55th line of setup.py).

Is this requirement still valid?

Best regards,
Kacper Kołodziej

Hello,

Is agunix project still living? Website is down, but maybe you are
willing to continue it.
