Yes, release 2.7 was a joke. But it was also a real release.

To clarify the situation, here’s Offpunk 2.7.1 which is basically 2.7 
but without references to the XKCDpunk name in the tutorial.

There’s also two small ANSICAT changes.

See 2.7 changelog. This was "real" release ;-)
- Reverted the tutorial back to Offpunk. The name was a joke but the rest of the release is real.
- added "application/xhtml+xml" mimetype to be rendered as html
- according to html spec, <pre> content should be parsed as HTML.
