[PATCH sxmo-build] Added user to seat group in Alpine/pmOS 11 days ago

From Nathaniel Barragan to ~mil/sxmo-devel

In a discussion in the IRC, I had debugged a problem where if I
installed the dwm version of sxmo, then move over to the sway version,
tinydm would no longer start up sway. It was found that this was due to
the user not being in the seat group. I add this in the part that
installs all the services.

Re: [PATCH sxmo-utils] fix audio controls when using pipewire 3 months ago

From Nathaniel Barragan to ~mil/sxmo-devel

I have an idea. (Sorry I'm just a lowly user, I don't really contribute
much so take that how you will).

On my personal systems, I have a script called "audiocontrol". Perhaps
we can create an "sxmo_audiocontrol.sh" script that will abstract that
away, so that we can use it wherever we need to do any control over
audio volumes and devices, eg. switching devices over from speakers to
headpones, or changing the volumes. This way, slowly, we can just add
whatever sound server people are using, whether that be ALSA, PipeWire,
or PulseAudio, or even OSS if people ever want to use it on a BSD for
whatever contrived reason.

[PATCH sxmo-userscripts] Added getip.sh 5 months ago

From Nathaniel Barragan to ~mil/sxmo-devel

Added a script called "getip.sh" that will get all the IP addresses
(IPv4 and IPv6) of your various interfaces (not just wlan0). This is
useful just to get a quick view of your various IP addresses or to get
them for later use.

When selecting an IP address or interface name from the menu, the IP
address or interface name will be copied to the clipboard.

[PATCH sxmo-utils] sxmo_networks.sh: Add IP address menu 5 months ago

From Nathaniel Barragan to ~mil/sxmo-devel

Added an IP address menu to make it easy to get the IP address of your
pinephone at any point.

The menu will show both IPv4 and IPv6 (if applicable) for every
interface on the device (not just wlan0). This is useful for getting
your IP from the GSM network or any ethernet network you are connected
to and also for just general device and other OS compatibility (For
example, Arch will sometimes use interface names such as wlp3s0)

Steps for use:
1. Open the networks menu (through the system menu or otherwise)
2. Select "List Current IP(s)"
3. Select an IP address to copy it to the clipboard or select Close Menu
