Hi fellow denoters,

Thanks to nobiot and some further massaging we now have a
fully-working version of citar-denote.

https://github.com/pprevos/citar-denote

I think it is close enough to release on MELPA. Excited to have my
first package.

Without your help I would never have been able to do this!

Regards

P:)

Congratulations! Depending on the timing, I can mention citar-denote in
the release notes of Denote version 1.2.0. I expect to write them this
Friday.

All the best,
Prot

Hi Prot,

The Readme file on Github contains everything you need to add to
your manual. The package is fully functional, but I hold back to
declare it 1.0 pending some further testing and a more detailed
manual on how to manage bibliographies in Emacs.

Next package: visualise Denote networks with R.

I wrote about citar-denote in the manual as well as the release notes
for version 1.2.0 that I published earlier today.

Very well!

Hi Prot,

Congrats with version 1.2 and thanks for including the nice
citar-denote writeup in the manual.

I am using Citar-Denote in full production now and believe it is
ready to share via ELPA / MELPA. Just need to research how to
achieve this.

Regards

P:)

Thank you!

The main difference between the two is that GNU ELPA requires all
contributors to assign copyright to the Free Software Foundation. This
has never been a problem with my packages, though you might prefer the
less bureaucratic approach of MELPA.

Given that 'citar' is in MELPA, I think it makes sense to opt for that.
The MELPA repo on GitHub provides documentation on what you have to do.
Let me know if you need any help.

All the best,
Prot
