I see how you mean about a menu with a list, it now registers that's
how the Scatter program works partly.
I need to examine that more now.

I joined Slack but noticed that i can't find a channel for gioui. I
might need an invite (santosvella@gmail.com)

I have a project that i'm considering Gio for but it does need dropdowns.
It can probably get away with List for now as the options are few and
the form is simple.

I know there's no structure yet for a menu, but is it possible to have
say 2 or more buttons fixed at the top and an area underneath that is
overwritten on click of the buttons?
It doesn't even need to look pretty/ like a menu so long as i can
change the main area with different elements.
There again i can work around that it it wasn't possible.

Hello everyone

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but i can't find any references so far.

What do people do about dropdown fields?
I know the closest seems to be a List, but i'm not sure how. Maybe i
missed something.

Indeed it had disabled it as default. Turned on and working now.

Thank you

It is annoying. I can run it okay in chrome on a Windows 32bit tablet.
I've reset my Chrome install on the 64bit system, removed extensions
and so on but still no dice.
All the browsers report the missing favicons but only the 64bit Chrome
(v79.0.3945) refuses to run wasm.

Hi Elias

I like the web-assembly examples. I can see this working okay in
Firefox (Windows 10 64bit) but i haven't got any Gio webassembly
examples to run in Chrome.
In Chrome's debug window I'm seeing that there are 2 favicons have a
404 status which i've see from my own code before that blocks the page
from running. It is weird that Firefox deals with this fine but not
Chrome.

Thanks Elias

I appreciate this. Uh! Windows isn't my first choice. I run a linux
system too, maybe i'll try that.

Success. I have a shiny new apk file.

Thank you.

compile android error no NDK >=r19c but Studio says yes 2 months ago

From rob d to ~eliasnaur/gio

Hello everyone.

New guy here. Hopefully someone can help with this.

My environment is Win10 64bit pro trying to compile for android using
go run gioui.org/cmd/gogio -target android gioui.org/example/kitchen
But when trying to compile the above i keep getting

"gogio: no NDK compiler found for architecture arm. Please make sure
you have NDK >= r19c installed. Use the command `sdkmanager
ndk-bundle` to install it.
exit status 1"

I have Go installed and can compile for windows local execution using
