do note that Go-HEP's yoda2root does not support converting
yoda's Scatter1Ds, though.
(ie: the _XSEC and friends aren't saved into the output ROOT file.)
I don't think it's dissimilar to what yoda does itself, though.
(looking at the code in rootcompat.pyx, I don't see any handling of
Scatter1D).
