Hi!

Idea: how about doing a version of  Email service provider
recommendations[1], but for mailing list providers?

I kicked off a discussion in your public inbox about this topic[2], and
today I found a promising project there[3], because I also agree that
lists.sr.ht is probably the closest we have to this.

There are some hosting providers that provide Majordomo-style lists,
but none really has a pleasant experience. I would "need":

* Using my own domain
* Decent moderation (posts are not processed until accepted, or the
sender is in an allow list)
* Public archive
* RSS support

If the public archive could have a nice UI, and you could post via the
web, that would be fantastic too.
