When I started learned more about free software, I began to help their
developers financially. Many organizations and people have some
advantages to their paid users, but srht does not have this option (and
I can understand this). But I think it to be cool to have some banner
(like a have from FSF
https://static.fsf.org/nosvn/associate/crm/2698809.png) that claims that
I support your project with something money.

Hello! I would prefer to avoid having something which can effectively
signal the user's economic class. Not everyone has the luxury of being
able to donate, and we consider them equal patrons of the platform all
the same. This will become especially true once payment is mandatory,
and the lack of such a banner would signal that you had to request
financial aid to use sourcehut.
Would you consider, once payment is mandatory, to add an "early adopter"
badge of sorts? I think something like that would serve as appreciation
for people who've stuck with sourcehut, and less as proof of donation.
