Hello!

I’m a (pretty fresh) new user of sr.ht, and so far I’ve been enjoying
every part of it — moving away from GitHub has been important to me.

However, I’m now considering running CI / CD jobs on email patches /
pushes and I’m failing to find anything but builds.sr.ht. However, I
don’t feel super confident at just sending my credit card number, even
over TLS. I would have expected a more in-depth integration of Stripe,
but it still looks like I have to enter some HTML forms on sr.ht and,
yeah, call me weirdo but I’m not super fond of that.

Is there any alternative so that I can start paying and using the
builds.sr.ht service?

There is a section in the billing FAQ[1] stating that you can get free 
service if you are unable to pay for some reason. Its vague about what 
are the legitimate reasons for getting free service, though they've 
shown to be pretty lax in terms of what they accept as payment[2].

Sourcehut is currently relying on stripe for all its payments, but, as 
jman pointed out, they stated that one of their goals it to expand their 
payment options in their recent blog post. I'd recommend that you 
contact support at ~sircmpwn/sr.ht-support@lists.sr.ht or directly to 
sir@cmpwn.com.

AFAIK, Sourcehut is still in alpha. It's also mentioned in the recent 
blog post that main the goal is to get the project into the beta state now.
