I am curious if you can share any further details around the servers
lost in the mail -- perhaps I have too much faith in society, but I
would have thought that failing to respond to a request for an insurance
claim would land a shipping provider in pretty deep water (perhaps a
lawsuit), particularly when the contents in question are worth a few
tens of thousands of dollars...
Best Wishes,
Ellie

Re: The state of SourceHut and our plans for the future
Thank you Drew for the long due update.
I hope that this second semester of 2024 will allow you to breathe and focus on the roadmap.
I hope and believe in the growth of Sourcehut. I hope it will become a place for a sustainable
growth and a place able to attract and sustain talents.

I'm not particularly interested in the details but I am sure Sourcehut did all they could to get
their money back. It's a shame that sometimes you cannot right a wrong because you just don't have
the resources for that (that's how I read the whole story).
A small nit: I received in my mailbox the opening message of this thread from Drew but I don't see
it here:

I agree completely, sorry if I accidentally implied otherwise -- I fully
trust that SourceHut has done everything in their power; I am just
surprised and disappointed in the shipping provider on SourceHut's behalf.
