pages without object storage 3 days ago

TZAG,

Is it possible to run pages.sr.ht without using object storage? Couldn't
find any info in the docs about it, I'd like to be able to run it
without using object storage since that'd be an unnecessary expense.

It was, in fact, that. Setting the origin urls to HTTPS fixed the issue
entirely. PEBKAC yet again, sorry for the inconvenience and the headache.

Well, I discovered the issue. Strangely enough, it was caused by the
server block that handles 301 redirects for redirect to https.
Commenting it out solved the issue. Very, very strange. For context,
here's that snippet:

server {
     if ($host = git.slipfox.xyz) {
         return 301 https://$host$request_uri;
     } # managed by Certbot

     server_name git.slipfox.xyz;
     listen 80;
     return 404; # managed by Certbot

Unfortunately, no luck. I only carried over a handful of things: my
certs, my nginx config, and my /etc/sr.ht. Meaning it's an issue with
*one* of these things.

I think i'm gonna try just doing a fresh install of Alpine, see where
that lands me. Thanks for the help nonetheless.

Doing so did nothing.

Yes, https://null.slipfox.xyz/EU.conf

Back to square one it is. What else could it be caused by? Does GraphQL
have like, a service or something that needs to be running?

The default runlevel.

A reboot doesn't solve, unfortunately. This is very strange. Can't
SIGTERM. even SIGKILL doesn't stop them from restarting.

Trying to kill them made them automatically restart. As stated in my
previous message it seems like they're both running as part of the
openrc services.
