I write novels that look like code, code that's completely indecipherable (even to me), infrastructure that's complicated to its core, and sometimes at least one of those things is actually useful.

For what it's worth, I also like SVN, and if sourcehut were to suddenly start supporting it, I would certainly start using it.

So they do.

That is quite odd. Perhaps its keying off of the "Marius Orcsik" part
of the mail's "from"? Though if it were I would consider that a bug at
best, and a small security hole at worst.

Re: Skip clone in builds 27 days ago

From Ren Kararou to ~sircmpwn/sr.ht-discuss

Jonah,

Please disregard my last mail, it occurs to me that I need to work on my
reading comprehension (or at least finish my coffee before reading
mails).

This is rather interesting though. When I was manually running builds I
needed to specify a sources configuration option, but it appears when
the build is triggered via a git commit or a patch-set via a list, those
refs are automatically cloned.

I'm not sure there is a way to skip this, but if anyone else knows,
please feel free to chime in.

Hi Jonah,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you need a sources
configuration option[1] in your .build.yml. Even the sourcehut build
specs specify the sources configuration option[2].

Hope this helps,
Ren

Hi Marius, mpris-tools list,

This is a test mail to demonstrate that mails should be coming through.

From Ren Kararou to ~sircmpwn/sr.ht-discuss

Hi Marius.

sourcehut lists won't send mails to the author of the post. I'm going
to go out on a limb and assume that the last mail you got from the list
was 7 months ago, because that was the last time that someone other than
yourself mailed in a post.

To demonstrate, I'll go ahead and write a mail to the list.

git.sr.ht returns 504 2 months ago

From Ren Kararou to ~sircmpwn/sr.ht-discuss

Hi all,

It appears that git.sr.ht is currently returning 504 on the web
interface. The ssh interface also appears to be on and off
intermittent.

I just tried the hut tool as well. No luck there either.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks,
Ren

Hi Tim,

Instead of <img src="image.jpg" alt="alttext" /> you'd use ![alttext](image.jpg)

Hope that helps.
