Hello everyone!
I'm sorry to say it, but I decided to take a break from Fennel. There
are a few reasons for that unrelated to the language or the community.
I'm archiving all of my Fennel code on GitLab for now, if you're
interested in picking up any of my projects, please feel free to do so.
I'll still maintain the fennel-proto-repl for now, as it is used in
other editors, and the Emacs support for it, but I doubt that I will get
any active use of it any time soon, so it's entering a "maintenance
mode". Sorry to let everyone down.
I'm at a point in my life when I have to reevaluate my priorities. That
means that I won't have much time to give to the Fennel projects of
mine. So instead of feeling anxious about not providing the support my
projects may need, I decided to archive them. No code will be removed,
everything stays at GitLab, which was my primary forge for Fennel
projects. However, I've removed the GitHub mirrors for all projects, so
if you were using those, please change the upstream URLs to point to
GitLab.
The Fennel community is amazing and was a huge part of my life for
almost 5 years. I thank everyone, and I'm sad to leave, but life has
different plans, so it is what it is. Huge thanks to everyone who's
been participating in and using my projects over the years, you all are
amazing people. And huge thanks to Phil for being a great maintainer,
and a welcoming community leader!
Feel free to reach me out here or personally if you need anything.
And again, thanks to everyone, and perhaps we'll meet again someday!

Thanks for all your contributions and enthusiasm; it's really been
wonderful and inspiring at times. Please don't feel like you're letting
anyone down; it's important to take care of yourself first.
