The last couple of days have been exhausting. From the sudden forking
to a spam attack, to the maintainer stepping down, it's been a lot.
We've now taken a breather, regrouped, and are ready to create a great
fork.

Following discussion on issue #51 [1], we've decided to move development
and discussion away from GitHub to a FOSS software forge. We'd like to
thank Drew DeVault, maintainer of sourcehut, for his amazing support and
help, particularly for covering the cost for our domain, and we're happy
to announce that sourcehut will be the new home of Tenacity.

This will be the new project URL:
    https://sr.ht/~tenacity/tenacity

The move will commence at 2021-07-09. GitHub will remain as a mirror, 
and will accept PRs. It'll also be used for certain build jobs.

If you're coming from forges like GitHub, GitLab or Codeberg,
sourcehut's workflow might feel alien and confusing. This post is here
to help you with getting used to the sourcehut way of doing things.

The preferred way of communication on sourcehut is via mailing lists, of
which we have three:

    - tenacity-discuss, a general place for bugs, features and
      questions. It goes hand-to-hand with our IRC channel, #tenacity.
    
    - tenacity-dev, for sending patches to Tenacity. SourceHut uses
      git send-email for contributions [2], please send all patches to
      ~tenacity/tenacity-dev@lists.sr.ht.

    - tenacity-announce, a read-only mailing list for announcements and
      updates. Replying to a post here will go to the original poster.

SourceHut only accepts plaintext email without attachments. Refer to
https://useplaintext.email for more info and instructions.

We also have a ticket tracker, at https://todo.sr.ht/~tenacity/tenacity,
though it is meant for confirmed bugs and feature requests only. Talk
about it in the proper channels, and we will ask you to fill out a 
ticket if needed.

If you have any questions, our IRC channel is #tenacity on libera. Feel
