A Note from Vazkii
==================
This update has been a long time coming. The reason it's taken this long
is because at the time, Psi was currently being maintained by Kamefrede,
who, for his own valid reasons, decided to stop modding. The task was
then handed to Dudblockman, who was unable to do any significant amount
of work on it for a long time due to university and other real-life
commitments on his end that popped up shortly after.
This port was almost entirely done by Dudblockman on his free time over
the last few months. I (Vazkii) only came in at the last moment to patch
up the build script and get it released. All credit here should go to
Dud.
This version will not be supported actively, as immediately after the
release, I will begin porting the mod to 1.19.2. It's purely being
released because well, it exists, so I figured some people would be
interested in having it. The build was reasonably tested and should work
perfectly fine as far as I'm aware, but I can make no promises, it's
released as Beta, and I advise you to use it at your own risk.
With that said, I think the pitiful state of the mod's documentation
needs to be addressed. Around the time of the migration, Alwinfy began
rewriting the original tutorial system to be available in a Patchouli
book with a less awful UI. You may know Alwinfy as the one who rewrote
the entire Lexica Botania, which should be proof enough they're capable
of handling the job.
Alas, due to lack of motivation, Dud's slow pace, and little reception
from Psi's highly niche community, this rewrite was never finished, and
the bits that were, were never properly polished - this is immediately
evident when you open the guide book ingame.
As I'm taking over the project again temporarily, I'll work alongside
Alwinfy to ensure the documentation is complete and fully working for
1.19.2, which may make that port take slightly longer, but definitely
not as long as the 1.18.2 move.
Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy Psi in modern
versions.
