License is a great tool except that some license texts (notably GPL and MPL) do not match the originals. For example, GPL 3.0 from gnu.org starts like this: > GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE > Version 3, 29 June 2007 > > Copyright (C) 2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc. <https://fsf.org/> > Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies > of this license document, but changing it is not allowed. > > Preamble > > The GNU General Public License is a free, copyleft license for And this is the version from licenses/GPL-3.0-or-later: > GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE Version 3, 29 June 2007 > > Copyright © 2007 Free Software Foundation, Inc. <https://fsf.org/> > > Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license > document, but changing it is not allowed. > > Preamble > > The GNU General Public License is a free, copyleft license for software and Similar style (and not only) changes happen in MPL (and maybe other licenses too). Where do the texts come from?

I got them from spdx.org. Are there any content changes or are they just formatted differently. If it's the latter then they might have gotten formatted by my editor. Either way I'll take a look.

I don't think there are any content changes but the formatting is
completely messed up for using in plain text documents.
We should just get licenses from their official websites.

I fixed the license texts. Please let me know if you encounter any other issues. I'll cut a new release soon. Thanks for your comments.
